Our Story
Pacific + Main was originally founded in 2011 by two Ventura locals, Rodrigo Aguilar and Yessíca Torres, who shared a vision of building a creative community in their town. At the time, the building was an abandoned warehouse; dusty, forgotten, and far from the vibrant hub it is today. With patience, resourcefulness, and a lot of elbow grease, Rodrigo and Yessíca transformed the space into a home for art and connection, beginning with a community gallery and a handful of artist studios.
Rodrigo, an established graphic designer and longtime Ventura business owner, poured his design sensibility into the building, ensuring its historic character was preserved while creating an environment that was fresh, inspiring, and functional. He also helped expand the building’s scope, opening the doors to entrepreneurs and creatives beyond the visual arts. Yessíca, meanwhile, grew Dama Gallery from the center of Pacific + Main, curating exhibitions that championed contemporary voices and extending her gallery network beyond Ventura to Texas and Mexico City.
In 2020, Rodrigo’s lifelong friend, Jason Streatfeild, joined as a partner, bringing with him decades of experience as one of California’s most respected real estate professionals. Recognized among the Top 100 Most Influential Real Estate Agents in California and nationally ranked for sales performance, Jason’s expertise and vision have helped guide Pacific + Main through its next chapter of growth. His background in high-value real estate transactions and investment strategy brought new opportunities to strengthen the building’s foundation as both a landmark and a thriving business hub.
What started as a small but impactful grassroots effort has blossomed into a dynamic center where art, entrepreneurship, and community converge. The friendship, vision, and determination of its founders and now Jason’s partnership, remain at the heart of the project, guiding a creative community that continues to grow, evolve, and celebrate the spirit of Ventura.
Our Building
The Pacific + Main building is a restored 1930s landmark that blends historic charm with modern functionality. Its 10,000 square feet of light-filled space and soaring 20-foot ceilings offer a striking backdrop for work and creativity. Rodrigo has preserved the building’s architectural integrity while shaping it into an environment that reflects both its history and the needs of today’s professionals. From its vintage details to its contemporary energy, the building embodies the character and warmth that defines our community.

Our Location
Located at the corner of Pacific Avenue and Main Street in Midtown Ventura, Pacific + Main sits just minutes from the beach and in the heart of Southern California’s creative corridor. Nestled between Malibu, Santa Barbara, and Ojai, Ventura is uniquely positioned as a place where coastal energy meets cultural vitality. Its mix of sun, surf, and artistic spirit provides the perfect backdrop for innovation, collaboration, and growth. Our name itself honors this intersection—Pacific and Main—a point where history, geography, and creativity converge.

Our Vision
Our mission is to cultivate a community where creativity and collaboration flourish. What began as a local gallery and artist studios has grown into a diverse environment that supports entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, and remote professionals alike. By reimagining a local landmark, we’ve created one of Ventura’s most dynamic creative hubs, rooted in history, yet forward looking. Our vision is to continue building a space where people come together to work, share ideas, and shape the future of art, culture, and business in Southern California.
